As a high quality blow melted (not extruded!) product made of HDPE (high density polyethylene) it comes with a 10 year warranty and 20+ years of trouble free operation.
Unlike other products made of polypropylene, it is the ONLY SWIMMING POOL SOLAR PANEL THAT IS FREEZE PROOF! Most pools and solar systems are drained during the winter season due to freeze or water standing still inside the panels. This is a "non-event" for OKU solar panel users.
The panel has a unique very open design of the inside and allows the pool water to flow freely through the panel to get heated by the sun's energy, resulting in low internal pressure for the pool circulation pump. In most residential applications there is no need for an extra pump when a solar heating system is installed.
