This was the first introduction of the COLARIS to the USA. Especially the new BEMAFORM technology that does not require cross-lapping caught the interest of many visitors on the Zimmer America booth BOMBI, the fourth NW partner introduced thermo-bonding ovens, calanders and terminal equipment for non woven production lines and the new CONTINUE PRESS that transforms felts or loose fibers with melting components inside into rigid boards for various applications (office partitions)

Recycling:

Is a new area for Zimmer America and was well received especially by the textile and carpet industry and artificial turf producers. Here is were carpet meets recycling, using HOTMELT as the back coating rendering a after consumer carpet or turf product into a 100% recyclable unit. This is especially interesting for consumers that are located in states where one used artificial turf football field cost US$ 100,000 to dump in a landfill!

SOLAR POWER:

Newest addition in the Zimmer America portfolio, offering solar thermal solutions for pre-heating of textile process water and Photovoltaic PV solar panels to reduce grid load and utility power consumptions in mills in all areas of production

Traffic: was great and only tapered off on the last day. That is somewhat expected as people started making plans for the weekend. The quality of people and the number of decision makers were remarkably high and serious discussion for new investment projects took place during the show on the Zimmer booth
